The Moye Ensemble was organized in May 1965 by founder Ulysses G. Moye. Acting upon a vision given him by God, the Ensemble was started with fifteen members. Today, the active membership is nearly forty with hundreds of former singers and members.
The Ensemble is an Inter-denominational singing aggregation representing Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, Episcopalian and Holiness faiths. The Ensemble seeks not just to sing but to minister, for the Ensemble knows, as verified by the word of God; that what they do is a ministry.
The Ensemble comes to minister, to glorify, to praise and to lift up the name of Jesus. So, let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified. (Psalm 40:16)
